With every passing day I think when the recession will take back its curse. When will the potential candidates get employed without having to behave like beggars on street – those who spent huge amount of money to enhance their skills and knowledge so as to beat the other competitors fighting for the same positions? continue

A person living in Jaffna in Sri Lanka has seen four distinct governments – British, French, LTTE and Sri Lankan. This century also saw a wide spread experiment in socialism. It did not work, but this experiment did fundamentally change the way free market democracies work. This century also saw massive strides in female emancipation. “You can’t fool all the people all the time.” Or so the saying goes. The question is can the American government swindle money from a billion people?

It probably can – China holds about $ 1.95 trillion in Forex reserves. An estimated $ 700 billion is in US government bonds. So what? continue

Sometime back an email was circulated where in God showed India as His finest creation except that it did not have good neighbors. It is aptly said that you can choose your friends but not your neighbors. In this post, I will briefly take you through an introductory note on how India’s influence in the neighboring nations of South East Asia is being slowly eroded by China. In the successive posts, I will take each of the nations in greater detail. continue
