Download the IPL Predictor

There are just a few matches left. Nothing is certain, apart from the fact that Delhi is in (and that Kolkata is out!).

People seem to be discussing this everywhere – be it in office, or on the phone, or anywhere else. So here’s a simple but effective IPL predictor to see who will reach the semi finals of IPL 2. It’s been made by my colleague Naresh Verma (an MBA from NMIMS). Just put in who you think is going to win the rest of the matches, and see the top teams being highlighted in green.

Click here to download the IPL Predictor. Hope you enjoy it!

I am not sure if Delhi is in for sure…. There is still a weird(and highly unlikely) chance that Delhi may lose out if it loses all its matches very badly – but the chance is there :)

Yes Siddhesh you are right. I just checked in the predictor, and saw that there are a string of possibilities where they would be tied with other teams for the 3rd (or 3rd and 4th place), and then it will come down to NRR.

But NRR will drop significantly only if they lose by 100 runs in each match or something ;)

But yes, technically, it is possible :-) And if Javed Miandad is to be believed, (recent rediff article), it will happen too!

My picks – Delhi, Chennai, Rajasthan and Kings XI (Punjabi that I am, they will win all their remaining matches).
However, something that we might have missed is that the rain which has thankfully stayed away recently might just play spoilsport again!

KKR – they actually beat the law of averages!
