As students of management, and future practioners of the trade, we are often left wondering what is it that would make us successful in harnessing the talents of a myriad others. Are those success stories etched on the walls of domination or is it empathy that makes me sleep with a smile at night? Is it about flair and the vibrant personality or is it about that endearing quality of simplicity.

My efforts on this blog would be my attempt at understanding management – not just at the workplace, but at places such as home and amongst friends. It would be exploratory in nature – a journey into myself so to speak. I would try and establish connects with little things we picked up in B-school, and try and make a tiny little case study of ourselves.

Sydney Harris had said “It’s surprising how many persons go through life without ever recognizing that their feelings toward other people are largely determined by their feelings toward themselves, and if you’re not comfortable within yourself, you can’t be comfortable with others.“
